Anthropic Claude certifications: choosing a study path
Anthropic currently lists Associate - Foundations, Developer - Foundations, Architect - Foundations, and Architect - Professional certifications. Choose the role before choosing practice material.
Who can register
Anthropic says certification registration is currently available to people at Claude Partner Network organizations using a recognized partner email domain. Check eligibility before paying for preparation.
Choose by role
- Associate - Foundations: Everyday Claude use, output evaluation, workflow design, and responsible use.
- Developer - Foundations: Building and operating applications with the Claude API, Claude Code, and MCP.
- Architect - Foundations: Designing Claude solutions, agentic systems, tool integrations, evaluation, and deployment tradeoffs.
- Architect - Professional: Designing and governing Claude solutions at enterprise scale.
Study checklist
- Confirm your partner eligibility and the current certification name in Anthropic Partner Academy.
- Read the official exam guide and mark each task statement you can already demonstrate.
- Build a small, safe Claude workflow and test tool errors, context limits, evaluation, and human review.
- Use original practice scenarios to explain why an architecture is suitable, then check the current official documentation.
CertiBud catalog status
CertiBud has an older CCA-F catalog record labelled Claude Code Foundations. That label does not match Anthropic's Architect - Foundations certification, and the bank has not been verified against its current exam guide. It is not promoted here as preparation for an Anthropic certification.
